After almost three weeks of travel, I’m quite pleased to be back home. I’ve been enjoying spending some time going through photographs of my trip and reliving all the moments. This was one of my evening looks on my vacation. I love the soft hues of the pink and cream along with the lace fabric on my dress – it makes everything feel very dainty and girly, which are traits I tend to gravitate towards. I decided to pass on the accessories for this look to make it that much more simplistic.

It’s a sad, sad day…my last full day in Venice 😦 This city has been so great to me and has exceeded every single expectation I could have ever set for it. I’m so glad I was able to visit this beauty and hopefully one day I will be back!
Today was another wet day, but fortunately it wasn’t chilly so I opted for some shorts and a cardigan for warmth. I love pairing these shorts with other plain and basic pieces that tie into the color scheme for a very put-together look. Not only that, but these shorts are so fun with the print and with the tie and “flaps” (they kind of remind me of an apron…and I like that). I’m always going for something a little different!
Have a beautiful day!

This is most definitely my go-to style of outfit when I A) have a bad case of outfit-block or B) don’t want to put a lot of effort into getting ready but still look like I did. I for one love chambray shirts and look for all the ways I can incorporate them into my wardrobe. Hope all of you are doing lovely!
